Visit of Shri. Sanjay Kelkar - MLC to affected area

On 20th June, 2009 Shri. Sanjay Kelkar - M.L.C. Maharashtra State visited Oswal Park , Runwal Regency and discussed with affected residents becasue of Air Pollution caused by Ravi Steel, Majiwada, Thane West, Maharashtra . Residents from Orchid Complex, Bougan Villa, Majiwada Village, Parameshwari Paradise C.H.S., Urvi Park , Pokhran Road no.2 were present. Residents shared there issues related to pollution with Shri. Sanjay Kelkar.

ROAD CONDITIONS AT KALWA - VITAVA SUBWAY

This photo was clicked by me on 14th June, 2009 @ 7.50 a.m. of a horrible road @ Kalwa - Vitava Subway.

Traffic jam at this junction is a regular feature.

Basic reason for this traffic jam is water which is leaking from a under ground water pipe . This water damages the top surface of the road at this location.

This situation is there 365 days a year. This is the biggest culprit to spoil the road in the subway.

In the photo you can easily see pot holes inspite of no rain . If now this is the condition of the road, then what will happen in the Monsoon ?

On Saturday, March 28, 2009 I had mailed to The Commissioner - TMC as this is to be undertaken by TMC.


In between some temperary patch works was done, but you can see the present condition of the road.

It is quite shocking that all MPs, MLAs, travel from this road, no body is serious to solve this problem once for all. Can't local corporators see this situation ?

Where common man should go for a solution for this problem ?

Heavy Air Pollution by Ravi Steel , Majiwada, Thane

Such things only happen in INDIA only. Since 2002 I am fightening against this air pollution in residential area. Knocke the doors of all the concerned authorities including HON. President of INDIA. Since last one year, Shri. Sanjay Kulkari - MLC - Maharshtra State is keenly trying his level best for stopping such serious air pollution, but this is the current position on the month of June in which world celebrated ENVIRONMENT DAY . I am trying to put facts in front of INDIAN citizens.

Pollution in Residetial Area on World Environment Day

This photo of a polluting chimney of one of the polluting factory in the highly popullated residential area on Ghodbunder Road, Thane West was clicked from my bedroom @ 8.00 a.m On World Environment Day - 5th June, 2009 .

Please note that this industry is polluting day and night in the dense residential area of Ghodbunder Road, Thane West , Maharashtra .

Such kind of realities are only possible in INDIA only.

In spite of fight against pollution for last 7/8 years, day by day amount of pollution increases and not decreases.

For us Breathing Fresh Air will be a dream .
