Unforgettable Moments with Kavi Shri. Ashok Naigaonkar ji.

For me it was like a dream came true.

Shri. Ashok Naigaonkar ji is a great personality. He is a great example of Celebrity having feet on ground. Simple living and high thinking.

We all enjoyed a sort of Mehafil in his house which lasted for more than 90 minutes. It was an unforgettable moment for a very small person like me.

This was possible only because of Shri. Sanjay Kelkar Saheb. I am also very much greatful to him .

KAVI ASHOK NAIGAONKAR ji appreciated , expressing various issues of COMMON MAN through these KAVITA in very simple words.

He wished to write more KAVITA on various issues . He wished best luck for more KAVYASANGRAHA as well as more editions of “AAJCHI SATYAGEETE”.

These POT HOLES are every year seen on the same spot , every year people like me raise this issue, make complaints with various authorities, but POT HOLES are regularly seen in MONSOON  like MUSHROOMS .

Signature campaign for better TMT services Padmja Sinha @PADMJA Thane: Commuters have always complained about inefficient TMT services and errant auto drivers. And now after the recent incident of Swapnali Lad, activists and residents are demanding increase in bus frequency.  They have even planned to start a signature campaign. Kapurbawdi stretch is a lonely area and despite our requests to increase patrolling on the stretch, nothing has been done. “We have also demanded to increase frequency of buses and add extra TMT bus on this route,” says Sayan Giri a resident. “If frequency of TMT buses is better, we would prefer to take a bus rather than waiting for an auto,” says Shilpa Anand, a commuter.  Activist Satyajit Shah says, “TMT buses have poor services in some localities. Though the transport undertaking is incurring losses on some routes, they should provide proper services.” Residents have submitted a list of bus stops in Upvan, Kolshet, Kapurbawdi, and Wagle Estate where frequency of buses is poor. “Many residents have purchased vehicles to ease travelling, but everyone can’t do that,” says Umesh Solanki, a commuter.  Nandini Vichare, corporator from ward No25 (A) too has taken up the issue and met additional commissioner (crime) VV Lakshmi Narayana, requesting to beef up security and arrest the culprit in Lad’s case. TMT manager Devidas Tekale says, “We will ensure that frequency of buses is increased, especially in areas where connectivity is very poor.”
